Engine Management and Fuel Injection Parts.

Engine Management - Engine management is covered by various different sensors. They all send signals back to the ECU so that it can make adjustments to keep the engine running smoothly. The most common types of sensor you will find will be;

  • Lambda probes to measure the emissions in the exhaust system
  • Air mass meters to measure the volume of air being brought into the engine
  • Oil pressure switch to keep track of the oil pressure
  • Wheel speed/ABS sensors to measure various factors in the braking system

There are many other sensors, however the ones stated above are generally the most commonly found sensors across the board.
